Gloria Uchefuna (Rev.) - President

Rev. Gloria Obioma Uchefuna received an in-depth preparation for her present career as a missionary from her studies at Elim Bible Institute Lima, New York and Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia USA (1996-2000) where she obtained Master of Arts in Divinity with emphasis in Practical Theology and Leadership Development.
 
Gloria is the founder/president of Health and Life International (Nigeria) and currently serves as Honorary Executive Director, Health and Life International (HEALIN) USA. Through HEALIN, she relentlessly carries out community-based Health awareness/education and outreaches in remote villages and sub-urban areas of Nigeria and beyond.
 
As an outstanding philanthropist, a dynamic and inspiring international speaker and communicator who is widely travelled, Gloria is driven by excellence in leadership and healthy living as she envisions a world where every individual has access to information and services that make for healthy living.
 
Prior to her educational advancement in USA, Gloria and her husband Isaac, have served in many leadership capacities, trained many great leaders of big organizations, pioneered and pastured churches. They are blessed with two sons – Chijindu (27) and Victory (19).

 

Rev. Isaac Chinwuba Uchefuna

He currently serves as the chairman Board of Directors Health and Life International (HEALIN) USA. He is the founder and President of Embracing the Nations Ministries both in USA and Nigeria.
 
As a great Leadership instructor and teacher, Isaac has founded and led many organizations including Co-founding Living Word Ministries and pastoring Word Fellowship Christian Centre, Aba in the East of Nigeria (1985-1991).
 
Isaac and his wife Gloria are blessed with two sons - Chijindu (27) and Victory (19).
After his studies on Missions and Pastoral Studies at Elim Bible Institute, he also attended and graduated from Regent University Virginia Beach, Virginia USA where he obtained a Master of Arts in Divinity with emphases in Missiology (1996-2000).
 
Rev Isaac is a carrier missionary that has carried out much of his work in isolated and remote areas - bringing about positive changes to the poor and marginalized communities.

 

Mrs. Ngozi Ihosevbe - Secretary


Dr. (Mrs) Nwakuso Aruotu (Otiteh)
BSc.; OD, FAAO.
 
She is a Chief Optometrist cadre at the University of Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital, was born in Owerri, Nigeria on the 31st day of December in the year 1964.
 
She attended Township Primary school extension, Shell-Camp, Owerri (1970-1975).
 
She enrolled in the Federal Government Girls College Abuloma, Rivers-State for her secondary education (1976-1981).
 
Dr Nwakuso Aruotu graduated from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, with a Bachelors of Science (BSc) degree in Optometry in 1985.
Following her compulsory National Youth Service Corp at the University of Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital in 1986, she worked for Delta Eye Hospital (1986-1988), Amity Specialist Medical/ Eye Clinic (1988-1990) and Alpha Si Nigeria Ltd (1990-1991). She was offered employment as an optometrist in the University of Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital in 1991 thereby, joining the Federal Civil Service where she serves till date.
 
In 1996, Dr Nwakuso Aruotu returned to University of Benin-City, Edo-State, Nigeria, where, she obtained her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree in 1998. She is currently the National Secretary Women in Optometrist in Nigeria(WON).
